Bio

I graduated magna cum laude from Lipscomb University and received my J.D. from Nashville School of Law. I am admitted to the state and federal courts of Tennessee.

Growing up in Hermitage, Tennessee, I always wanted to be a lawyer. However, I chose a different path after graduating high school. After going through a contentious divorce, I decided to pursue my dream. Through family support, I was able to juggle being a single mother, working full-time, and going to law school at night. After graduating, I passed the bar exam and started my own practice.

From my own experience, I understand how divorce can be overwhelming. I appreciate the opportunity to help my clients get their lives back under control. My practice primarily focuses on the areas of family law, and estate planning and administration. However, over the years, many of my clients have returned needing assistance with other legal issues. It is my goal to become your trusted legal adviser for years to come, for whatever legal issue you may have.

Legal Philosophy

I believe that a client’s best interests are served by making every attempt to resolve, not merely settle, a client’s case, rather than fight for no reason. As such, I prioritize opportunities for settlement. I also strive to maintain an amicable relationship with opposing counsel because I understand my relationship with them significantly impacts my clients’ cases. If all reasonable methods have been exhausted, I will work tirelessly to achieve the best possible results for my clients in court.

I use my own personal experience with divorce to guide my clients.
